On September 9, 2024 I was asked by the Sisters of Mercy of the Americas to evaluate quilts made by Sister Clair. Over 40 quilts were measured, labled and priced. All quilts are for sale and all proceeds go to the cost of care for Sister Clair. If you are interested in seeing or finding out more information on these beautiful quilts, please contact DHQ @ downeytextiles@gmail.com or Sisters of Mercy of the Americas @ michellejackson@sistersofmercy.org

2025
This years journey has so far been amazing!! We started our year of traveling in Onterio, California @Road 2 California. The following week in Phoenix, Arizonia. We stayed at Desert Shadows RV park, where I got to sit and sew with local gals and later that evening enjoyed a pajama party eating delious finger foods (which I wore most of it) and playing games. I will definitely be seeing them again the next time we roll through! Right after the Phoenix show we head east and stopped along the way @Rock Spring Cafe and ate some pie. We stopped and took a small hike to the Montezuma's Castle. Our 6 mile detour to the Carter was uneventful, because they were closed :( We will try again on our way home. We finally landed in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
